Automatic Invalid Alert Detection
How it works
We monitor all alerts and ensure we only present those which are valid. Through monitoring ARN, auth codes, card numbers, transaction amount and other unique identifiers, we ensure that any duplicates are removed.
Valid alerts
Although rare, cross network alerts are still valid, if we see alerts raised by both networks these are counted:
Scenario 1)
An Ethoca alert is raised, you accept the chargeback and allow it to flow. Verifi then also raise an alert for this transaction which, is not automatically refunded (as you accepted Ethoca). In this case, both alerts are valid with the Verifi not being a duplicate as the chargeback alert is still correct.
Scenario 2)
An Ethoca alert is raised, you refund but Verifi still triggers
If you suspect we didn't catch an invalid alert, please contact us using our support email: support@chargebackstop.com
Invoicing and Invalid Alerts
All invalid alerts will be removed from your account and not show within your admin panel. We automatically apply a credit relating to any removed alerts on your monthly invoice to offset any charge.
